Support Young Athletes

General Eligibility Requirements for applying for SYA funding:

1.  Location - applicant must be a resident of San Diego County.

2.  Age: There is no lower age limit, as long as the child is old enough to play a sport.  The upper age limit is a high school senior.   

3.  Applicant must have a current illness, injury or medical issue that makes it difficult to play a sport and would like to receive help to become active in a sport once again or for the first time.
